The Intensive Care Society is the most relevant organisation to our training. It is dedicated to furthering education and research into intensive care in the UK.

Members will receive discounted rates for annual conferences and events, subscription to the Journal of Intensive Care Society, personal accident insurance cover (during patient transfer).

State of the Art, is the UK’s flagship critical care meeting and takes place annually in December.

AMICU (Local)

The Association of Mersey Intensive Care Units holds multidisciplinary educational events covering a myriad of critical care topics. The annual Trainees’ Prize Meeting provides opportunity for our trainees to present their work and typically includes audit, quality improvement, and research presentations.
